On Tuesday, Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant made his first appearance at a cricket stadium since surviving a life-threatening car accident in December 2022. Pant arrived at Arun Jaitley Stadium to support his team, Delhi Capitals, in their first home match against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Despite still being on the road to recovery, Pant was seen wearing heavy strapping on his legs and using crutches for support. Ahead of the game, Delhi Capitals shared an emotional video wishing Pant a speedy recovery. In the absence of Pant, former Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner is leading the team, which is yet to win an IPL trophy.
