Chennai Super Kings defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs in their IPL match, but CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni warned his bowlers to cut out the excessive no-balls and wides. He said that if they continue to bowl in that manner, they will have to play under a new captain.
Dhoni also expressed surprise at the Chepauk pitch, which produced a lot of runs. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul admitted that his team did not bowl in the right areas initially and that the loss of a few wickets made their chase difficult.
#CSK bowlers today bowled 13 wides and 3 no balls against #LSG and Captain @msdhoni, in his inimitable style, had this to say. 😁😆#TATAIPL | #CSKvLSG pic.twitter.com/p6xRqaZCiK
