Shubman Gill kept Gujarat Titans’ run rate up in the powerplay, but fell on 56 off 34. David Miller and Abhinav Manohar then set up a big finish for GT, with Manohar falling on 42 off 21, and Miller on 46 off 22. Rahul Tewatia came in and smashed 20 runs in just five balls, helping Gujarat Titans reach 207/6 in 20 overs. In response, MI struggled throughout their innings, with bowlers Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami strangling them in the powerplay. Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad also took wickets, resulting in MI’s defeat.
