On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bangalore revealed their jersey for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The event, dubbed ‘RCB Unbox’, attracted a large crowd of fans, with players such as Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Chris Gayle, and AB de Villiers in attendance. RCB also held a team practice session at their home venue, where they will be playing for the first time in three years. Some of the RCB players interacted with the fans who had gathered in large numbers. During the ceremony, batting legends Gayle and De Villiers were inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame and presented with mementos. Later, Sonu Nigam and Jason Derulo performed in front of the fans.

RCB will kick off their IPL 2023 campaign on April 2 with a home game against five-time champions Mumbai Indians. However, the team will be without Rajat Patidar and Australian Josh Hazlewood for at least the first half of the season due to injuries.
