Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni continues to impress, not just as a skilled wicketkeeper-batsman and charismatic leader, but also as a successful entrepreneur and honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army. Recently, a video shared by his Indian Premier League (IPL) team, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), showcased yet another talent – Dhoni’s musical abilities.
In the video, Dhoni is seen spending a light-hearted moment with his CSK teammates Shivam Dube, Deepak Chahar, and Ruturaj Gaikwad as he effortlessly plays the guitar. This bonding session is an important part of their preparations for the upcoming IPL season, which begins on March 31st, with CSK facing off against the defending champions, the Gujarat Titans, in the first match. The video has been titled ‘Groovy Wednesday!’ and showcases the team’s relaxed and fun side.
CSK is the second most successful IPL franchise, after the Mumbai Indians, with four titles and five runners-up finishes. They have made it to the finals nine times out of their 13 appearances in the tournament. However, their performance in the 2022 season was disappointing, with the team finishing just ahead of the Mumbai Indians in last place.
